Regional Dialogues and Alliances Focus Group

The focus groups are an integral part of the new public program inaugurated with IBA Conversations and are meant as further discussion space for a specific topic. What we hope to achieve through these is to turn some of the thoughts and ideas raised in the larger discussion into practical steps helping our community to achieve their goals and turn their ideas into viable outcomes. Our role as IBA in these discussions will be largely to facilitate the discussion making you lead. However, if no Board Member is present and a particular topic would require it we will make sure the voice of our members is heard.
In the case of our first topic, it will be important to pick up where some of our members have left the discussion especially considering the position expressed regarding a possible West African network (and beyond) as well as an informative discussion on funding structure in areas in which public funding isn’t available or could strongly influence the possibilities of a biennial.
