IBA Stage
HYPER-POSSIBLE 3rd Coventry Biennial
April 13, 2022 (Wednesday)
9:00pm (Sharjah) / 6:00pm (Coventry)

Developed in the midst of the first lockdown by a locally engaged team, Coventry Biennial‘s 3rd edition wants to explore and reflect on possible new ways of thinking incorporating Coventry’s own history and its most recent developments. For those of us who were not able to attend the rich program of exhibitions, performances and tours organised by the dynamic team of Coventry Biennial the upcoming IBA Stage will be a great opportunity to find out more and get to know the background of HYPER-POSSIBLE through the account of Coventry’s Biennial Founder and Artistic director Ryan Hughes.

Ryan Hughes is an artist, curator and independent researcher interested in DIY cultures, collaboration, community and what was briefly called the post-internet. He is the founder and Artistic Director of Coventry Biennial. Prior to this Biennial he made projects working closely with artists, academics, musicians and technologists at spaces including MK Gallery, ICA London, Leamington Spa Town Hall, the slopes of Cader Idris and the streets of Digbeth. He has spoken nationally and internationally at events organised by the British Council, Kunsthal Gent and Eastside Projects as well as at a wide range universities and educational institutions.

We hope to see you numerous at the event and please make sure to register through the link below if you want to take part in the live event and Q&A.
