After an inspiring opening event with a focus on the 11th Liverpool Biennial IBA Stage turns the spotlight on the recently concluded 34th Ljubljana Biennial of Graphic Arts which we will host on Thursday December 2nd at 3:00pm – 4:30pm UK time.
IBA Stage is an occasion for biennials to present their most recent project for those audiences who did not have the occasion to visit in person. Furthermore it gives the registered audience the opportunity to discuss together with the makers elements of the projects of particular relevance.
ISKRA DELTA, the 34th Ljubljana Biennial of Graphic Arts, borrows its name from one of the most important Yugoslavian IT companies based in what now is Slovenia which went bust in 1989. The biennial was conceived as a conglomeration of practices recalling the lost futures we live through ever since, making use of our screens and various technological gadgets as signposts of transformation for the world we inhabit. The project was developed in its entirety during the pandemic and has hence placed a strong focus on Internet culture and various subcultures which have seen the rise in the past few years.
We hope to see you numerous at the event and please make sure to register through the link below if you want to take part live to the event and Q&A.
