The growing concern and awareness by our community over humanitarian and climatic crises the world over urges us to find new ways of collaborating, creating new synergies and confronting specific elements of the art system which have fostered a culture of competition no longer viable

We have observed a growing engagement of the global biennial community around questions of increased cooperation, knowledge and resource sharing, as well as heightened attention to sustainable practices (economically and environmentally). This gives us hope while also reminding us of our collective responsibility and calls for a multiplicity of responses, some of which can take place at the global, others at the regional level.

It is with these themes in mind that we are calling for your contribution and participation in our next conversation on May 27th at 5:00pm (Sharjah).
