In preparation for its 10th edition to open on September 7th 2019, Göteborg International Biennial for Contemporary Art (GIBCA) welcomes back curator Nav Haq for the release in Gothenburg of the first issue of PASS Journal, the International Biennial Association publication tracing the current critical and experimental role of contemporary art biennials around the world.
The evening will revisit the process and outcomes of GIBCA 2017 WheredoIendandyoubegin – On Secularity and will introduce the title, thematics and framework for the coming edition of the biennial, in a presentation by Lisa Rosendahl, curator of GIBCA 2019 and GIBCA 2021.
Supporting partners for the event are Skogen and the International Biennial Association (IBA).
