It is with great pleasure to share with our members and supporters that the 11th General Assembly of the International Biennial Association (IBA) will take place October 11 – 14, 2024 in Lyon, France, in collaboration with La Biennale de Lyon during the 17th Lyon Biennale.
Please find below a message from Isabelle Bertolotti, Artistic Director of La Biennale de Lyon:
“On behalf of the Executive Board and Programming Committee, I am delighted to welcome you to Lyon for the 11th General Assembly of the International Biennial Association (IBA).
Human relations will be at the heart of the 17th Lyon Biennale—the contemporary issues that underlie them, their many facets, their scope and their rituals—in order to explore and extend hospitality practices.
Within this framework, the 11th General Assembly is the place to exchange best practices, develop mutual partnerships and build the future of our biennials.
