Andy Sargent is an artist based in Warwickshire, he makes contemporary works, using various materials that come to hand, creating expressive and painterly compositions.
He has a long term series of works that deal with the subject of sudden injury, pain, loss of freedom, isolation, depression, ignorance, hostility, disregard, forced anonymity, and being disabled that is called Hidden Monster.
During Coventry Biennial 2021, the biennial is showing a pair of innovative works from this series at the Old Grammar School.
